Law enforcement is provided for Utica by the Seward County Sheriff’s Office. This contracted service includes at lease one patrol every 24 hours and enforcement of our ordinances. This includes speeding, parking, and public nuisance properties and any ordinances in out village code.
One deputy has been designated as the supervising deputy for our village. This person sees all reports and issues of the village. If you have questions, contact the sheriff’s office or village clerk for clarification.
The signal for a tornado wawrning is one long high-pitched siren. Please take cover immediately. There is no all clear siren sounded. The fire/rescue siren is a 3 minute up/down waver.
Vehicles impeding snow removal may be towed or ticketed after 24 hours.
The Village is NOT responsible for clearing residential driveways, alleys or sidewalks.
